Patricia S. Ciccarelli
Ms. Ciccarelli is a trial attorney with experience in many areas of defense civil litigation, including general negligence, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, construction site accidents, products liability, municipal law, toxic torts and appeals. Ms. Ciccarelli is well known in the legal community and among insurers as having particular expertise in defending lead paint claims.
Ms. Ciccarelli is a native of Buffalo, New York. She received her undergraduate degree from Binghamton University. She is a 1994 law school graduate of the State University of New York at Buffalo, where she was awarded the United States Department of Justice Special Achievement Award, following an internship with the Office of the US Attorney. She also attended L’Universite d’Aix-en-Provence in France, where she studied Renaissance Art and French Business Law.
Ms. Ciccarelli is a member of the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations, Women Lawyers of Western New York, the Western New York Trial Lawyers Association, the Charles S. Desmond Inns of Court and the Defense Research Institute. She is a frequent writer and speaker on a variety of topics for insurance companies throughout the State of New York. She has also served as a speaker for the New York State Bar Association.
Committed to the Western New York Community, Ms. Ciccarelli has served on the Boards of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, the University at Buffalo School of Law GOLD Group and the Wellington Woods Homeowners’ Association. She serves as a troop leader for the Girl Scouts of Western New York. Ms. Ciccarelli also serves on the Eighth Judicial District Pro Bono Committee.
Ms. Ciccarelli is admitted to practice law in New York State, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York. She is fluent in Italian.
