Mary C. Fitzgerald

Mary C. Fitzgerald is a trial attorney who practices in the areas of insurance coverage and defense litigation, including toxic torts, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability and appeals. She also has extensive experience in complex business and commercial litigation, including disputes involving construction projects and municipal contracts.
Ms. Fitzgerald is a graduate of the University of Chicago (B.A., with honors, 1987) and Cornell University (J.D., cum laude, 1990). A native of Worcester, Massachusetts, she chose to make Western New York her home upon graduation from law school.
Active in the community, Ms. Fitzgerald is a Past President and former Director of the Women Lawyers of Western New York, Inc. and has served on the Judiciary and Newsletter Committees of the Women's Bar Association of the State of New York, Western New York Chapter. She has also served as the Vice President and Secretary of the Women's Board of the Buffalo Zoological Society and on the Board of Advisors for Westminster Early Childhood Programs. She is also a past recipient of a Special Service Award for outstanding performance as pro bono counsel from the United States District Court, Western District of New York.
Ms. Fitzgerald is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in the United States District Court for the Western District of New York.
