Jessica J. Burgasser
Jessica Burgasser concentrates her practice in insurance defense and coverage litigation, as well as family law matters. She is the Firm's Senior Associate in the asbestos defense department, wherein she manages the asbestos case load and provides experienced legal advice to a wide range of asbestos clients, including manufacturers, property owners and retailers. Jessica handles non-asbestos litigation including other product liability matters, motor vehicle accidents, no-fault and SUM arbitrations, APIP subrogations and loss-transfer claims, premises liability, labor law injuries and dog bite claims. In addition, Jessica assists in the Firm's appellate practice.
Jessica is a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI), Niagara and Erie County Bar Associations, the New York State Bar Association, and the Bar Association of the Tonawandas (former President). She is admitted to the State Bar of New York as well as the United States District Court and Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of New York. Jessica recently presented in November at the DRI Asbestos Medicine Seminar in Las Vegas, NV.
A native of Buffalo, Jessica is a graduate of Nichols School, Canisius College and University at Buffalo Law School.
