H. Ward Hamlin, Jr.

H. Ward Hamlin, Jr. is a Western New York native, and a graduate of Nichols School, Hamilton College and Albany Law School of Union University. He is admitted to practice in New York State Courts, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of New York. Mr. Hamlin has practiced in the area of insurance defense litigation for over thirty-five years, and previously was managing attorney in field litigation for a major casualty insurer. He represents defendants in personal injury lawsuits and appeals, involving auto and public liability, products liability, construction and municipal liability, and also represents carriers in coverage matters. He frequently serves as an arbitrator for alternative dispute resolution matters, and has conducted educational presentations for insurance carriers, agents and corporate and municipal clients on legal matters.

Mr. Hamlin is a member of the New York State Bar Association, Bar Association of Erie County (past Chair of the Practice and Procedures Committee), the Western New York Trial Lawyers' Association, and the Defense Trial Lawyers Association of WNY. He is also a Lay Vicar Choral in the Choir of St. Paul's Cathedral, where he currently serves as Senior Warden and as a member of the Board of Friends of Music at St. Paul's.
